Arrival Time: 9:45am / Sunday March 27th
Volunteer Artists will be working along side with the Volunteer Teacher & Workshop Helpers. A detailed outline of the class schedule will be given to each volunteer.
Artists that volunteer will share their favorite painting technique and/or style through demonstration by creating their own painting using questions from the worksheet as their guide. All styles are welcome, but artists must use the same supplies that are provided to the children and create the artwork within the same time frame. Artists are encouraged to answer children’s questions throughout the workshop and share about their favorite artists and paintings.
Artist Volunteer’s work will be displayed alongside the children’s in the following Gallery Exhibit. Artist Volunteers should also be able to attend gallery opening. No commissions are taken on sales for this exhibit.
- Please bring easels if you have them. Feel free to bring your own brushes and keep them to yourself.
- Consider bringing sunblock, this is outdoors.
- If you do not mind being in photos please sign and bring the photo release form.
Download & Print the Photo Release Document - Set up your spot. We will have Artist Volunteer spots marked. Find a spot marked AV and set up.
- Please put a name tag on, help others get theirs on.
- Make sure you have something hard to write on to complete your worksheets along with the kids.
