Teachers

Christine Gingrich Mendez
Christine got her B.S.Ed. at UGA. She taught English in Mexico for two years before returning to the United States to teach high school Spanish, then middle school ESOL.

Before attending UGA she traveled the United States working with various artisans at renaissance festivals. She has traveled to many foreign countries and has a deep appreciation for the diversity to be found in the peoples and cultures of the world. That appreciation is what led her to pursue teaching ESOL. Her current English students are from Nepal, Malaysia, Cuba, Iceland, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Burma and Iran.
